Website Revisions and ConceptsConceptThink of a web design concept as an individual website design—or, the look of a website. It is the graphics, colors, font, text size and everything else that goes into making one website look different from another. After you place your order and we interview you to find out what you want your website to look like, we will create a web design based on the information you provide. This design is known as a "concept". We will turn this concept into your website by adding the text and laying out photos—but you won't be able to change the underlying look of the website. By purchasing additional design concepts, you are giving yourself more choices to pick from before we get started building everything. The best way to describe a concept is by comparing a website to a residential home. You can think of a concept as the architectural drawings or blueprints of a home you are about to have built. RevisionAfter you choose a web design concept, we will build your website and put in your photos, text, and any extras that you may have purchased. Once we are finished, we will present you with the finished product. You will almost certainly want to make changes to the site to get everything just right. Maybe you would like to move some text around or the way photos appear on a certain web page. You can use revisions to make these changes to the website before it goes live. To stick with the residential home analogy. If you think of building a website as building a house, revisions would be when you visit your contractor to find out you don't like where they put the sink in your bathroom, and you'd like to have it moved. Your contractor would charge you to move this sink, but we won't. We allow you to make one round of revisions to your website at no added cost so that you can get everything just how you want it. |
