Ephective is giving away a free domain to anyone who registers for 12 months of service, or more.

Is it really free? Really? Absolutely no cost?

Yup. Just signup for any plan that is 12 or more months and you get your $10 .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, or .us for free. By registering for 12+ months You will also save an additional $25 by not having to pay for a setup fee.

If you opt for a plan that is less than 12 months there may be a setup fee or initial, one-time domain registration fee. But, after 12 months of continuous hosting, your domain will always be free. No yearly registration fee. Free. Ephective is the only provider willing to give away free domains to customers with month-to-month plans because we believe in making web hosting as simple and easy as possible.

Do I own this free domain?

Of course. It is completely yours. Do with it as you please.

What if I cancel the hosting?

We'd hate to see you go, but if you choose to cancel your plan, you can take your domain with you. After you cancel, arrangements can be made to transfer your domain to a registrar of your choice. There is no charge from Ephective, for this domain transfer.

How do I get a free domain? Is there a special code, or something?

No. No special code or trick. Just register for any hosting or design plan or package and bask in the free domain goodness.

Any hosting plan with a term of less than 12 months may require an initial one-time domain registration fee. After that, you never pay again for your domain — ever.
